TVING’s original series Yumi’s Cells Season 3 is continuing to receive strong reactions after its latest episodes.

Episodes 5 and 6 were released on April 27, and the drama remained No. 1 in weekly paid subscriber contribution from April 20 to 26. Episode 5, which aired on tvN, also ranked No. 1 in its time slot among cable and general programming channels.

The latest episodes focused on the changing feelings between Yumi, played by Kim Go Eun, and Soon Rok, played by Kim Jae Won.

Soon Rok, who usually follows strict rules and keeps work and personal matters separate, slowly began acting differently because of Yumi.

After Joo Ho, played by Choi Daniel, tried to get closer to Yumi, Soon Rok became more active and even asked Yumi to watch a movie with him. However, an unexpected misunderstanding left Yumi disappointed.

Later, while sharing one umbrella, Yumi began to understand Soon Rok better and realized that he is someone who speaks honestly. But when Soon Rok tried to draw a line by asking about a blind date, Yumi protected her pride by introducing him to her younger friend Jenny.

Soon Rok’s feelings became clearer after he saw Joo Ho getting closer to Yumi again. After a tense moment with Joo Ho, Soon Rok went to Yumi and finally confessed, “I think I like you, writer.”

The confession ending gained strong reactions from viewers, as Soon Rok finally broke his own rules and faced his feelings for Yumi.

The final episodes 7 and 8 of Yumi’s Cells Season 3 will be released first on TVING on May 4 at 6 PM.
