Chae Won Bin is winning viewers over with her bright and bold energy in SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sold Out on You'.

The drama has been doing well since its premiere, ranking No. 2 on Netflix’s global TV show chart as of April 22. In the series, Chae Won Bin plays Dam Ye Jin, a top home shopping host who refuses to give up no matter what happens.

From her first appearance, Dam Ye Jin left a strong impression by hosting a live home shopping broadcast while cleaning the windows of a tall building.

Even when she receives a breakup notice, she thinks about work first. When her prime time broadcast is taken away, she immediately heads to the director’s office, showing her strong drive and bold personality.

Her unusual relationship with young farmer Matthew Lee, played by Ahn Hyo Seop, is also adding comedy to the story. Dam Ye Jin keeps trying to approach Matthew Lee despite his cold attitude, and even ends up being mistaken for breaking into his house. These moments show her clumsy and funny side.

However, behind her confident image, Dam Ye Jin is hiding pain. She suffers from trauma after a past live broadcast failure and also struggles with serious insomnia. One late-night scene, where she calls Matthew Lee while crying and says “Mom,” has made viewers curious about her hidden story.

According to the production team, episodes 3 and 4 will show Dam Ye Jin’s bulldozer-like determination even more as she works toward renewing a supply contract.

Viewers are also watching to see what will happen as she continues moving forward without knowing that the mushroom farm owner she is looking for is actually Matthew Lee.

Although this is Chae Won Bin’s first romantic comedy, she is showing many sides of her character, from professional passion to emotional vulnerability. Her performance is helping lead the story and adding more charm to the drama.

Episode 3 of 'Sold Out on You' will air on April 29 at 9 PM KST.
