TVING’s original series Yumi’s Cells Season 3 is continuing its strong run both in Korea and overseas.

The drama has ranked No. 1 for two weeks in a row in TVING’s weekly paid subscriber contribution rankings, showing strong interest from domestic viewers.

Its global performance is also gaining attention. Episodes 1 and 2 ranked No. 1 on Rakuten Viki’s weekly charts in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania during the first week of release. The series also placed No. 1 on Mongolia’s Inche TV and ranked No. 3 on Disney+ Japan.

The drama’s sweet romance and fun storytelling, led by Kim Go Eun and Kim Jae Won, are continuing to receive positive reactions from viewers.

In the latest story development, Yumi, played by Kim Go Eun, is caught between changing emotions as Soon Rok, played by Kim Jae Won, and Joo Ho, played by Choi Daniel, create more romantic tension around her.

One line from Soon Rok also drew attention when he responded, “I don’t think they look that good together,” making viewers curious about his true feelings.

The production team teased the next episodes, saying, “In episodes 5 and 6, Soon Rok, who lives by rules, will show his rules beginning to shake after meeting Yumi.”

They added, “Yumi, who is honest about love, and Soon Rok, who starts realizing his feelings, will bring excitement.”
