Noh Jae Won is receiving praise for bringing energy and balance to Netflix’s new series If Wishes Could Kill.

Released on April 24, If Wishes Could Kill tells the story of high school students who are suddenly told they will die because of a cursed wish-granting app called If Wishes Could Kill. The students then try to escape the curse before it is too late.

In the series, Noh Jae Won plays Bang Wool, the boyfriend of shaman Haet Sal, played by Jeon So Nee. Bang Wool helps Haet Sal and the students as they face dangerous situations linked to the curse.

From the moment Haet Sal begins a ritual to break the curse, Bang Wool stays by her side and helps her prepare. He carefully watches over her, worries when the danger grows, and shows his deep affection by looking for ways to help her live a normal life outside the shrine.

Bang Wool’s caring and responsible side also stands out when he is with the students. Whenever Se Ah and Ha Joon face danger while trying to stop the curse, he jumps in without hesitation and adds tension to the story.

Noh Jae Won also drew attention with his action scenes, including sharp counterattacks using a ritual knife and fast-paced running sequences. At the same time, his witty lines and playful chemistry with Ha Joon added light humor to the horror story.

Through If Wishes Could Kill, Noh Jae Won shows a strong mix of comedy, action, and emotional warmth, making Bang Wool one of the drama’s most memorable supporting characters.
