Former SISTAR member Soyou is drawing attention after opening up about a frightening experience with a sasaeng fan and how it continues to affect her.
In a video released on April 24 on the YouTube channel “Lee Chang Sub & Jae Chang Sub,” Soyou spoke about her living situation while talking with Lee Chang Sub. When asked about her plans to move, she firmly responded, “I won’t tell you,” and explained the reason behind it.
She revealed, “Recently, a sasaeng fan came to my house. They came right to my door, and it was very scary,” recalling the unsettling moment.
Soyou shared that the person rang her doorbell and asked, “Is this Ji Hyun’s house?” When she and her friend acted like they didn’t know, the person continued, “Isn’t this Soyou’s house?” before apologizing and leaving.
She later found out from security that no visitor had officially entered, explaining, “I thought they walked in, but they actually came in by car using a different unit number,” adding that the person went around asking, “Is this Soyou’s house?” because they did not know the exact address.
Since the incident, Soyou admitted it has left a lasting impact, saying, “Even when I didn’t order anything, if the doorbell rings, I feel anxious,” and added, “That’s why I can’t reveal where I live,” showing her ongoing concern for safety.
