BTS leader RM is facing allegations after a report claimed he smoked in a no smoking area during his recent stay in Japan.

According to a Japanese media outlet, RM was in Tokyo for BTS’s concert at Tokyo Dome and was seen spending time with acquaintances in the Shibuya area. During this time, he was reportedly photographed smoking on the street.

The issue raised in the report is that the location was a designated “no smoking area”. It was also claimed that there was no smoking space inside the building they visited, yet RM and his companions allegedly smoked in the hallway.

The report further stated, “They calmly smoked in the corridor and threw cigarette butts on the ground,” adding that “a female staff member picked up the cigarette butts and cleaned the floor”. There were also claims that RM continued smoking even after being warned by a security guard.

Photos released by the outlet reportedly show RM smoking with an acquaintance, while a cleaner is seen nearby.

Meanwhile, BTS recently completed their “WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN TOKYO” concerts on April 17 and 18 at Tokyo Dome. According to their agency, both shows were sold out, drawing a total of 110,000 attendees over two days.

The group is scheduled to continue their world tour in the United States with upcoming concerts in Tampa.
