Actress Ha Ji Won shared her thoughts after wrapping up the ENA drama “Climax”, where she took on a bold and challenging role.

Through her agency, she expressed her deep commitment to the character, saying, “I had many concerns from the beginning to portray Chu Sang Ah, who struggles to survive”.

She added, “In order to be seen as Chu Sang Ah herself and not actress Ha Ji Won, I completely let go of myself,” and described the project as one that “will be remembered for a long time” in her acting career.

She also spoke about the difficulty of the role, explaining, “There were many scenes where I had to pour out my emotions, so it was not easy physically and mentally”.

Despite the challenges, she shared that she felt proud that viewers responded positively to her transformation and thanked audiences for their support.

Regarding the intense and unconventional scenes, she said, “There were many moments that went beyond typical storytelling, so I thought deeply about them,” adding that she focused on expressing the complex nature of her character, who does not clearly fall into good or evil.

Ha Ji Won concluded by saying, “‘Climax’ helped me break my own limits,” and expressed gratitude to the director, staff, and fellow actors, while promising to return with another fresh role in the future.
