BTS member Jin has opened up about why he was not included in the credits of the group’s album, sharing that it was due to timing and scheduling conflicts.

In a recent interview, Jin addressed questions about the album production, where it was mentioned that around 100 songs were recorded.

When asked about his possible contributions, he honestly responded, “This is something I have never shared before, but I did not work on any of the songs.”

He explained that he was on his solo tour during the main production period. “By the time I arrived at the session, more than a hundred songs had already been made,” he said, adding that he only participated in test recordings for about “a week to 10 days” before the sessions ended.

Jin further shared that the schedule had been set long in advance, saying, “The sessions were planned three months ahead, and my tour was scheduled even earlier, so the timing did not match.”

He also noted that other members were serving in the military at the time, while he focused on connecting with fans.

When asked if he wished he had more credits, Jin admitted, “I think it would have been nice,” but praised the members, saying they “did such a great job.”

He added that delaying the process just to include himself would not have been the right choice, explaining, “If we pushed the sessions back by a few months, this interview would not be happening now, and fans might have felt bored during that time.”

Jin concluded by saying, “It is a bit disappointing, but I believe there will always be opportunities. At that time, it was the best choice,” showing a realistic and thoughtful perspective on the situation.
