ILLIT is gaining major attention after being nominated for the “2026 American Music Awards,” marking a significant achievement as the only 5th generation girl group included this year.
According to the official list released on April 14, the group was nominated in the “Best Female K Pop Artist” category, highlighting their growing global impact.
Their nomination follows strong performance on major charts. The group has also built recognition at international award shows, including winning “Best New Artist (K pop)” at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards and receiving nominations at the Billboard Music Awards and MTV Europe Music Awards.
The 2026 American Music Awards will take place on May 25 in Las Vegas and will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount Plus.
