MBC’s drama ‘Perfect Crown’ is gaining major attention after ranking No. 1 in overall TV-OTT drama buzz for the second week of April.
According to the weekly data, the drama recorded over 80,000 points after its premiere, achieving the second highest opening score in TV drama history. It had already ranked No. 1 in buzz even before airing, showing strong early interest.
Lead actress IU also topped the cast buzz rankings for two consecutive weeks, with her score more than doubling during the first broadcast week.
Byeon Woo Seok followed closely, ranking No. 2 for two weeks in a row, while Gong Seung Yeon also entered the list at No. 7.
A data official explained that while previous top records were influenced by earlier seasons, this drama achieved its results as a single new series, making it “the highest buzz score among standalone dramas.”
Other dramas followed behind in the rankings, but ‘Perfect Crown’ clearly led the list, showing strong public interest and attention early in its run.
