MAMAMOO’s Hwasa shared a surprising story about suffering a second degree burn on her foot just before a performance earlier this year.
During a radio broadcast, Hwasa explained that the injury happened the day before her concert when she accidentally spilled a heated humidifier.
She said, “I spilled a heated humidifier”, and added that it was “fortunate” the situation was not worse.
She explained that she was moving the humidifier when the accident happened, saying she ended up stepping on the hot water instead.
Hwasa shared, “I stepped on the water and went straight to the emergency room for treatment.”
Despite the seriousness of the injury, she reassured fans about her recovery, stating, “It is now fully healed,” and mentioned that the marks have also disappeared.
Hwasa also took the chance to hint at MAMAMOO’s upcoming full group activities, confirming plans for a comeback and world tour starting in Seoul.
