BTS has shared new insights about their journey and future plans in a recent interview, including the reason Jungkook’s Super Bowl stage did not push through, drawing strong attention.

During the interview, the members reflected on their growth and time apart, as well as their return as a full group.

RM explained that their new album ‘ARIRANG’ represents an answer to the question of “what BTS is in 2026,” adding that “if we no longer challenge ourselves, there is no reason to continue as a team.”

The group also expressed how meaningful it is to be together again. SUGA shared that rather than focusing only on achievements, he hopes they can “take care of each other’s health and enjoy promotions.”

Jungkook opened up about how much he missed performing, saying he strongly wanted to “be on stage and dance” during their break.

The conversation then turned to the Super Bowl halftime show, where fans had wondered why BTS had not appeared.

The members responded honestly, saying, “Don’t we have to be invited to go?” and described it as a “dream stage,” adding that they will “keep working hard and look for an opportunity someday.”

When asked directly, Jungkook admitted, “I do want to perform, but we can only do it if we are invited.”

RM then revealed that Jungkook was actually close to performing, stating, “He almost made it. Usher invited him before he enlisted.” However, the opportunity did not materialize because “he had to go to the military.”

RM also emphasized the importance of the event, calling it “one of the greatest stages in the world,” and praised the performances held there.

BTS expressed hope for the future, sharing that they would “like to try it someday” if given the chance.
