BTS has once again made history as their 5th full album ‘Arirang’ secured the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart for three consecutive weeks.
According to Billboard’s official preview released on April 13, ‘Arirang’ ranked No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart dated April 18, 2026.
This marks a rare achievement, as it is the first time since Mumford & Sons’ ‘Babel’ in 2012 that a group album has stayed at No. 1 for three weeks in a row.
BTS is now the only Korean artist to maintain the top position on the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks, further proving their global influence.
For the latest tracking week, ‘Arirang’ recorded 124,000 album units. This includes 71,000 in pure album sales, 50,000 from streaming equivalent albums (SEA), and the remaining from track equivalent albums (TEA).
The album continues to show strong performance beyond its debut. In its first week, it already made headlines with record-breaking results, including 532,000 pure album sales, marking the highest weekly sales for a group album in over 10 years.
‘Arirang’ is also maintaining high rankings worldwide. It stayed No. 1 for three weeks on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums chart, reclaimed No. 1 on Germany’s Top 100 Albums chart, ranked No. 2 on both France’s SNEP Top Albums and Australia’s ARIA Top 50 Albums, and placed high on Japan’s Oricon charts, including No. 2 on the Weekly Digital Album Ranking.
With this continued success, BTS is also drawing massive attention through their world tour. Their recent concerts in Goyang gathered 132,000 fans, and they are set to meet more fans across Tokyo, North America, Europe, South America, and Asia.
The tour will span 34 cities with a total of 85 shows, marking the largest number of performances ever for a single tour by a Korean artist.
