IU and Byeon Woo Seok’s new drama ‘Perfect Crown’ is off to a strong start, showing impressive ratings from its very first episode.
According to Nielsen Korea, the premiere recorded 7.8 percent nationwide ratings. It also achieved 3.8 percent in the key 20 to 54 demographic, ranking first across metropolitan, nationwide, and target viewers, completing a triple crown.
The drama outperformed its competitor in the same time slot, which recorded 6.7 percent, allowing it to take first place immediately after its debut.
Even before airing, the series drew attention with its popular casting and achieved sold out advertisements, showing strong anticipation. With its solid opening ratings, it has further raised expectations for its success.
It also recorded the third highest first episode rating in MBC Friday Saturday drama history, highlighting its strong launch.
The drama airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:40 PM.
