Singer and actor Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) has addressed criticism about his acting in the Netflix series ‘Bloodhounds 2’, sharing his honest thoughts on how some viewers reacted.

Rain plays the villain “Baek Jung” in the series, standing against the main characters in a story centered on taking down a global illegal boxing league driven by money and violence.

Some viewers criticized his acting, but Rain responded calmly, saying that quick judgments based on short clips may not reflect the full performance.

He explained, “These days, people sometimes judge through shorts or short videos. If you watch the entire work, your impression might change.”

He also accepted the criticism with humility, adding, “Even after watching it, if you still feel it is not good, then that is something I need to work harder on. It is a matter of personal preference.”

Rain emphasized his strong sense of responsibility toward his work, stating, “I always feel desperate in everything I do. I know that I receive results based on my efforts, and I must take responsibility for it.”

He continued, “I was taught to approach things sincerely, so I do not want to show a lazy side.”

He further shared his mindset as an actor, saying, “Some people tell me, ‘Why do you work so hard all the time?’ but if I become relaxed even for a moment, people can quickly react and ask, ‘What is wrong?’”

He added that among many actors and singers, he believes he must carry his role and character until the very end.

Lastly, Rain showed a humble attitude, saying, “People ask why I always work so intensely, but honestly, I do not feel that intensity. I am just doing my best in my position.”
