IU shared her admiration for co-star Lee Yeon during the press conference for ‘Perfect Crown’, drawing attention with their mutual appreciation.
Lee Yeon first expressed that she was a fan of IU, saying she acted comfortably because of that feeling and described IU as someone she learned a lot from on set.
In response, IU revealed that the feeling was mutual, saying, “I was also a fan of Yeon,” and shared that she had previously told her, “I’m a fan and I want to work together someday” when they met at an awards ceremony.
She added that about a year later, they were able to work on the same project, calling it a meaningful experience.
IU also praised Lee Yeon’s dedication, saying she came well prepared and had many creative ideas, adding that she felt supported during filming.
‘Perfect Crown’ is a romance drama set in a modern constitutional monarchy and is scheduled to premiere on April 10.
