Byeon Woo Seok opened up about the pressure of returning to the screen after the success of ‘Lovely Runner’, while expressing gratitude for the attention he continues to receive.
During the press conference for MBC’s new drama ‘Perfect Crown’, he addressed expectations surrounding his comeback.
He stated, “I’m thankful for all the interest and love,” adding that rather than feeling burdened, he hopes to receive even more support.
He continued, “I will do my best to improve and work hard as much as the love and attention I receive,” showing his commitment as an actor.
Byeon Woo Seok also admitted that while some pressure exists, he views it positively. He said, “I really like the attention. It’s not that there is no pressure, but I think I should express the character well as much as the interest I receive,” adding that this is “the mindset I should have as an actor.”
‘Perfect Crown’ is set in a modern constitutional monarchy and tells the story of a romance between a woman who has everything except status and a man who only has status.
The drama is scheduled to premiere on April 10.
