NCT’s Haechan is gaining attention after sharing an emotional post, leading fans to question whether it was a quiet farewell to Mark before his departure from the group and agency.
On April 3, Haechan uploaded several photos on social media with the caption “vhdpqj clfemfla (forever chil dream).”
Among the images, a photo of Haechan and Mark standing close with their arms around each other stood out, showing a heartfelt moment during what appeared to be a concert.
The two have shared a long history, having joined as trainees in 2013 and debuting together, building a strong friendship over the years.
Following the post, online discussions grew as some fans speculated that Haechan may have shared a meaningful message before Mark officially announced his departure.
SM Entertainment confirmed, “After long and in depth discussions about his future direction, we have mutually agreed to conclude the exclusive contract as of April 8.”
Mark also explained his decision, saying, “As I reach the end of my 10 year contract, I thought deeply… and became curious about what the complete version of my dream would look like, and I wanted to fully focus and dive into it.”
In addition, recent concert moments where Mark, Renjun, and Haechan were seen emotional while performing “Rainbow” have drawn attention, with many now viewing it as their final stage together following confirmation of Mark’s departure after 10 years.
