“Climax” rises to No.1 in 2049 ratings and dominates charts as buzz and viewership continue to grow fast

ENA’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Climax” is showing strong growth, taking over key ratings and popularity charts as its success continues to build.

The drama recently recorded 3.5% nationwide and 3.3% in the Seoul area, showing a clear rebound in viewership. It also ranked No.1 among Monday-Tuesday dramas in the 2049 target rating with 0.9% and a peak of 1.2%, proving its rising popularity among younger viewers.

Beyond TV ratings, “Climax” is also performing strongly on streaming platforms. It has held No.1 on Disney+ in Korea for 15 consecutive days, showing steady demand from viewers.

According to platform data, the drama also reached No.1 in Indonesia and Thailand during its first week, while entering the Top 5 in six major Asian regions including Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Hong Kong.

Viewer reactions have been positive, with comments such as “I’m even more excited for what’s coming next”, “The characters are very attractive”, “The chemistry is explosive”, and “It’s so fun that I end up watching it again right away.”

The drama’s buzz is also reflected in rankings. “Climax” placed No.1 in FUNdex rankings for both TV-OTT dramas and TV dramas, becoming the first ENA drama since 2022 to achieve this.

It maintained No.1 in buzz rankings for two consecutive weeks, while its cast also ranked high, with Ju Ji Hoon at No.1 and Ha Ji Won at No.2 in actor buzz rankings.

In addition, the drama secured No.1 on Naver Open Talk rankings and Naver’s most searched drama list, while also holding No.1 for three straight weeks on Kinolights’ weekly trend ranking and WatchaPedia’s Korean series category, proving its ongoing popularity.

With rising ratings, strong global performance, and increasing buzz, “Climax” continues to show signs of becoming a major hit as its momentum grows.
