Kim Go Eun has addressed ongoing dating speculation, clarifying her current relationship status with Jo I Geon while drawing attention for her honest update.
On a recent YouTube show appearance, Jo I Geon was directly asked if he is dating Kim Go Eun, to which he firmly responded, “No”.
He then explained that the two reconnected through Single’s Inferno Reunion, where they cleared up past misunderstandings and expressed their feelings.
“We went on dates and kept in touch, but another misunderstanding happened, and we grew apart and lost contact”, he shared.
However, the situation has since changed. Both Kim Go Eun and Jo I Geon confirmed they are now in a “getting to know each other” stage.
When asked whether their relationship is continuing to develop, both answered positively. Kim Go Eun also stated, “We are in the stage of getting to know each other again,” confirming that while they are not officially dating, there is mutual interest.
The two previously appeared on Netflix’s Single’s Inferno 5, where they showed chemistry but did not become a final couple. Their connection resurfaced during the reunion spin-off, leading to their current situation.
Meanwhile, Kim Go Eun was previously involved in dating rumors with G-Dragon after being seen at the same event and sharing similar location photos. At the time, those claims were denied, with his side stating they are “just close acquaintances.”
With both stars now openly acknowledging their growing connection, attention is focused on how their relationship may develop moving forward.
