BTS’s Jungkook breaks major record as Seven surpasses 3.5 million US sales and continues strong global chart success

BTS’s Jungkook is reaching new milestones with his solo debut track “Seven,” which has now surpassed 3.5 million units in the United States.

According to reports based on RIAA data, the song achieved this impressive number in the world’s largest music market, highlighting Jungkook’s strong global impact.

“Seven” had already earned Double Platinum certification after surpassing 2 million units, and it was also the fastest K pop solo song in 2023 to reach 1 million units.

The track also made a major impact on global charts. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and stayed on the chart for 15 weeks. It also ranked No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excluding US charts.

In the UK, “Seven” debuted at No. 3 on the Official Top 100 and stayed on the chart for 14 weeks, marking a record for a K pop solo artist.

On Spotify, the song showed strong performance as well, staying at No. 1 on the Daily Top Songs Global chart for 71 days and holding No. 1 for 9 consecutive weeks on the Weekly chart.

With record breaking sales and consistent No. 1 rankings across major platforms, Jungkook continues to prove his global power as a solo artist.
