Yumi’s Cells 3 is officially preparing for a much bigger return, with TVING confirming that the highly anticipated new season will premiere on April 13 and launch through a major global rollout.

According to TVING, Yumi’s Cells 3 will be released simultaneously in 17 countries and regions across Asia Pacific through HBO Max, while viewers in Japan will also be able to watch the series through the TVING branded section on Disney+.

The platform stated that the move is part of its push to reach more international viewers, saying it is beginning to “target global viewers” with the upcoming release.

The new season is already drawing strong attention as one of TVING’s 대표 original franchises, especially after the series built a loyal fanbase with its unique format that combines live action and 3D animation.

Based on the hit webtoon, Yumi’s Cells has remained one of the platform’s most recognizable titles, with earlier seasons recording strong subscription contribution and viewing numbers while continuing to grow into a powerful IP.

This time, Kim Go Eun returns once again as Yumi, a role that many viewers have praised by saying she feels like “Yumi herself.” Season 3 follows Yumi as a successful writer whose quiet life is shaken by the arrival of an unexpected new person, setting up another emotional romance story.

Rising actor Kim Jae Won joins the new season, while the return of the established production team is also helping raise expectations both in Korea and overseas.

TVING is also expanding the viewing experience ahead of the premiere by launching a special Yumi’s Cells section where fans can revisit Seasons 1 and 2, along with extra clips and short form content.

At the same time, tvN and tvN DRAMA will re air the earlier seasons, helping build even more excitement before the series returns after three years.

TVING also highlighted the bigger meaning behind the release, saying, “TVING’s global expansion is meaningful because it is a way to directly introduce K content to overseas users,” and adding, “Through ‘Yumi’s Cells’ Season 3, we will show the global expansion potential of TVING original IP.”

Yumi’s Cells 3 will begin streaming first on TVING starting April 13, with two episodes every Monday at 6 PM, while tvN will broadcast one episode every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM.
