JTBC’s The Practical Guide to Love is drawing fresh attention after Lee Ki Taek’s bold confession to Han Ji Min became one of the biggest talking points from the latest episode.

In episode 7, Lee Ki Taek’s character Shin Ji Soo took a major step forward in his feelings for Lee Eui Young (Han Ji Min), openly confessing with the simple but powerful words, “I like you.”

The direct moment immediately raised interest in the drama’s growing romance and added new tension to the already complicated love triangle involving Park Sung Hoon’s character Song Tae Seob.

What is especially drawing attention is that the confession came from a character who had previously shown doubt about love because of his complicated personal history, making the moment feel even more meaningful for viewers.

The episode also highlighted the emotional connection building between Lee Eui Young and Shin Ji Soo, as the two shared several heartfelt moments that pushed their relationship into a new stage.

At the same time, Song Tae Seob’s position as a romantic rival appeared to become more unstable, making the triangle even more tense going forward.

According to Nielsen Korea, episode 7 recorded 3.9% nationwide among paid platform households. While that is a slight drop from 4.5% in the previous episode, the drama is still drawing attention for its character chemistry and increasingly emotional romance developments.

With Lee Ki Taek’s direct confession, Han Ji Min’s shaken reaction, and the love triangle becoming even more intense, The Practical Guide to Love is continuing to build buzz as viewers wait to see how the relationship lines will change next.
