BLACKPINK’s Jennie is continuing to build an impressive solo record in the United States with another major achievement from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
On March 20 local time, the RIAA confirmed that “like JENNIE,” the title track from Jennie’s first full solo album ‘Ruby,’ has officially earned Platinum certification in the U.S.
The achievement is drawing major attention because it gives Jennie her second Platinum certification from the RIAA. She previously earned her first Platinum with “One Of The Girls,” her collaboration track with The Weeknd and Lily Rose Depp.

What makes the latest update even more notable is that “like JENNIE” had already been certified Gold before rising to Platinum, showing the song’s continued strong performance.
Jennie’s U.S. solo milestones do not stop there. She has also earned Gold certifications for “ExtraL (feat. Doechii)” and “Mantra,” both songs from ‘Ruby.’
With this newest update, Jennie now holds a total of 2 Platinum certifications and 2 Gold certifications from the RIAA, once again proving her powerful global reach as a solo artist.
Under RIAA standards, Gold is awarded for over 500,000 units, while Platinum is awarded for over 1 million units, making Jennie’s growing list of certifications another strong sign of her continued popularity in the U.S. music market.
