SBS’s Phantom Lawyer Law Office is continuing its strong early run as it holds onto No. 1 in both ratings and buzz, while new stills are now teasing the official start of the drama’s new “Phantom Lawyers” team.
The fantasy legal drama has quickly become one of the hottest shows in its time slot. After just two episodes, Phantom Lawyer Law Office recorded a peak rating of 11.3%, officially breaking into double digits and ranking No. 1 among Friday Saturday dramas.
The momentum does not stop there.
As of March 17, the series also climbed to No. 1 on Netflix Korea’s “Today’s Top 10” series chart, showing that the drama is not only performing well on broadcast TV, but also pulling strong streaming interest.
Its buzz is rising just as fast. According to Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex rankings for the second week of March, Phantom Lawyer Law Office ranked No. 1 in TV drama buzz, proving that the show is currently one of the most talked about dramas in Korea.
Lead actor Yoo Yeon Seok is also drawing major attention. In the same report, he ranked No. 3 in the TV OTT drama cast buzz rankings, highlighting the strong response to his performance and the drama’s growing popularity.
With the show already leading in both ratings and buzz, SBS is now building even more anticipation for episode 3 with a new preview centered on the arrival of the “Phantom Lawyers” team.
Newly released still cuts show a key rooftop meeting between Phantom Lawyer, Yoon Bong Soo (Jeon Seok Ho), and Father Matteo (Jung Seung Gil), teasing a new dynamic between the three characters.
The upcoming episode is expected to highlight the growing teamwork between the ghost seeing lawyer, his loyal but ghost scared brother in law, and a priest with a mysterious past.
The production team also raised expectations by sharing, “In this week’s broadcast, the people who come to share Phantom Lawyer’s secret will start coming together in their own ways to help him.” They added that viewers can look forward to the “comic but dependable teamwork” of the new “Phantom Lawyers” trio.
With strong ratings, top buzz rankings, and a new team up on the way, Phantom Lawyer Law Office is clearly building even more momentum as one of SBS’s standout weekend dramas.
