Ha Jung Woo is making a strong return to the small screen, and his first TV drama in 19 years is already showing impressive momentum.
tvN’s weekend drama Mad Concrete Dreams has quickly become one of the most talked about new series after posting a steady rise in ratings during its first week.
According to Nielsen Korea, the drama recorded a 4.5% rating on March 15, rising from its 4.1% peak rating during its premiere on March 14.
That early increase is drawing attention, especially as the series continues to build strong interest after only two episodes.
The drama is also proving its power on streaming platforms. Mad Concrete Dreams reportedly ranked No. 1 on Wavve’s Today’s Top 20, while also taking No. 1 in total watch time, showing that Ha Jung Woo’s comeback is not only gaining traction on broadcast TV, but also pulling major OTT attention.
Much of the buzz around the drama has come from its fast paced and unpredictable story, which has helped viewers stay engaged from the start. The series mixes tension, dark humor, and unexpected twists in a way that has clearly worked with audiences so far.
With its ratings climbing, OTT rankings already at No. 1, and curiosity growing after its opening week, Mad Concrete Dreams is shaping up to be one of tvN’s early standout dramas this season.
Episode 3 will air on March 21 at 9:10 PM.
