ENA’s Climax is quickly becoming one of the biggest surprises in the Monday Tuesday drama lineup as the series continues to gain momentum after only two episodes.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 2 of Climax, which aired on March 17, recorded a new personal best of 3.8% nationwide among paid platform households.
That marks a clear jump from the drama’s 2.9% premiere rating, showing strong early growth and rising viewer interest.
What is drawing even more attention is how quickly the drama is closing the gap with the current Monday Tuesday leader.
With just two episodes aired, Climax has already passed the 3% mark and is now chasing tvN’s Siren’s Kiss, which recorded 4.4% for episode 6 on the same day.
While Siren’s Kiss is still holding onto the No. 1 spot, Climax is now being seen as a serious challenger if its upward trend continues.
Much of the buzz around Climax appears to be coming from its intense pace, heavy suspense, and power driven storyline, which have helped the drama stand out early in its run.
Viewers have been responding to its growing tension and darker tone, helping it build momentum faster than expected.
With ratings climbing sharply in only its second episode and the gap with the current leader already narrowing, Climax is now one of the dramas to watch closely in the Monday Tuesday race.
Episode 3 of Climax will air on March 23.
