Seo Kang Joon and Ahn Eun Jin are officially set to lead KBS 2TV’s upcoming weekend mini series ‘Another Romance Besides You,’ and the pairing is already drawing attention for its realistic and emotional concept.
The new romance drama will tell the story of a couple in their 10th year of dating, exploring what happens when a relationship that once felt natural begins to crack under the weight of time, familiarity, and new emotions.
Instead of focusing on the excitement of a new romance, the series will center on the much more relatable struggle between staying together, breaking up, or choosing marriage after years of shared history.
Seo Kang Joon will play Namgoong Ho, a warm and charming man who seems easygoing on the outside but carries emotional scars from a difficult family life.
Ahn Eun Jin will play Lee Mi Do, a once promising film director whose career has slowly fallen apart after repeated setbacks.
Together, the two characters are expected to portray the complicated emotions of longtime love as comfort, loyalty, and uncertainty begin to collide.
The production team shared strong confidence in the casting, saying Seo Kang Joon and Ahn Eun Jin have the ability to “sincerely deliver the emotions of their characters” and naturally pull viewers into the story.
They also said the two stars are expected to make audiences connect deeply with the realistic emotional moments between two people caught between familiar love and unfamiliar feelings.
With a grounded story, a fresh but relatable romance angle, and two highly trusted actors leading the drama, ‘Another Romance Besides You’ is already shaping up to be one of the more anticipated romance series of the second half of 2026.
The drama is set to air later this year on KBS 2TV, and it will also be released globally through Amazon Prime Video.
