Kim Go Eun is officially returning to romance in Yumi’s Cells 3, and the newest teaser is already getting fans excited about her chemistry with Kim Jae Won.
Ahead of its April 13 premiere, TVING’s Yumi’s Cells Season 3 released a new “Yumi On Off” teaser showing how Yumi’s once peaceful and emotionally quiet life begins to change after the arrival of Soon Rok, played by Kim Jae Won.
Returning after three years, the beloved series follows Yumi as she is now living as a successful writer. Although she has achieved her dream career, the teaser suggests that her love life has become calm to the point of feeling empty.
Yumi’s honest line, “There’s nothing that really hits me anymore. The problem is that there are no problems,” gives a glimpse into just how emotionally flat her daily life has become.
That changes when Soon Rok enters the picture.
Kim Jae Won’s character is introduced as a polished and smart looking figure who quickly brings fresh energy into Yumi’s world. The teaser highlights how his unexpected charm begins to shake up her once quiet routine and reawaken feelings she thought had settled down.
Yumi even admits, “How did dating even start again?” before sharing the emotional thought, “It’s been so long since I felt this way. It feels like my heart is becoming soft,” raising anticipation for the pair’s upcoming noona romance.
With Kim Go Eun returning as the beloved Yumi and Kim Jae Won joining as a fresh new romantic lead, Yumi’s Cells 3 is already building strong excitement ahead of its long awaited comeback.
Yumi’s Cells Season 3 premieres on April 13 on TVING, with two episodes released every Monday at 6 PM KST. The drama will also air on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM KST.
