JTBC’s The Practical Guide to Love is showing strong momentum as one of the weekend’s most talked about dramas, with ratings continuing to rise and cast buzz also gaining attention.

Adding to the momentum, lead actress Han Ji Min ranked No. 4 in Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex drama cast buzz rankings for the 9th week of 2026, highlighting the growing attention around both the actress and the series.
The Practical Guide to Love follows a realistic romance story centered on Lee Ui Yeong (Han Ji Min), a woman who decides to actively search for love through blind dates.
As she meets two very different men, viewers are watching a relatable and emotional love story unfold, which has become one of the drama’s biggest strengths.
Han Ji Min’s performance has also been drawing praise for making the character feel grounded and easy to connect with. Her detailed emotional acting is being credited for helping the series feel more immersive as the story develops.
The chemistry among the leads is also becoming a major talking point. Han Ji Min recently described Song Tae Seop (played by Park Sung Hoon) as a source of “comfort” and “stability,” explaining that he feels like someone who quietly listens and brings ease to everyday life.
Meanwhile, Park Sung Hoon described their connection as a “blind date,” saying Lee Ui Yeong experiences a very different first impression with him compared to her past meetings.
Lee Ki Taek, who plays Shin Ji Soo, also shared that his character’s relationship with Lee Ui Yeong can be described as a “compass,” suggesting a connection where both characters help guide each other emotionally.
With ratings climbing, buzz rankings rising, and growing interest in the love triangle at the center of the story, The Practical Guide to Love is continuing to build momentum as one of JTBC’s strongest weekend romance titles right now.
