Kim Go Eun is officially returning as Yumi.
After a three year break, Yumi’s Cells 3 has confirmed its premiere date for April 13, with TVING unveiling a new teaser poster that immediately drew attention for Kim Go Eun’s bright smile and familiar charm as the beloved character.
The hit series, which became one of TVING’s signature titles, earned strong praise in earlier seasons for its unique format combining live action and 3D animation, making it one of the most recognizable romance dramas in recent years. Because of that, news of the third season is already building excitement among longtime viewers.
In season 3, Kim Go Eun returns as Yumi, who is now a successful writer living a calmer life before a new romance begins to shake things up again.
The newly released teaser poster adds to the anticipation with the phrase, “It’s been a while, this soft and fluttering feeling in my heart,” hinting that viewers can expect another emotional and heartwarming love story.
Another major point of interest is the addition of Kim Jae Won, who joins the new season as Soon Rok, the PD in charge of Yumi.
With Kim Go Eun and Kim Jae Won set to lead the story together, many viewers are already looking forward to their chemistry and the fresh romance dynamic in the upcoming season.
Fan favorite “cells” from previous seasons will also return, adding to the excitement for longtime fans of the franchise.

Yumi’s Cells 3 will begin its exclusive early release on TVING on April 13, with two episodes every Monday at 6 PM KST. The drama will also air on tvN, with one episode every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM KST.
