
Two Korean romance dramas are drawing global attention after quickly climbing Netflix charts worldwide.
According to FlixPatrol, the Netflix series “Boyfriend on Demand” rose rapidly after its release on March 6.
The drama first ranked No.7 on Netflix’s global TV show chart within a day of release and climbed to No.5 globally by March 8.
It also entered the Top 10 in 69 countries across Asia, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, showing strong worldwide interest.
The series stars Jisoo as Mi Rae, a webtoon producer who begins experiencing romance through a virtual dating simulation subscription service. Seo In Guk plays her coworker Gyeong Nam, and their developing dynamic adds to the story’s romantic tension.
The drama also features appearances from actors including Seo Kang Joon, Lee Soo Hyuk, Ong Seong Wu, Lee Jae Wook, Lee Hyun Wook, Kim Young Dae, Park Jae Beom, and Lee Sang Yi.
Meanwhile, the JTBC drama “Still Shining ” has also gained global attention. The series entered Netflix’s Top 10 in 34 countries, including Mexico, Brazil, Greece, and Portugal, just two days after its premiere.
Starring Park Jin Young and Kim Min Ju, “Still Shining ” tells a youthful first love story that has been resonating with viewers across different regions. The drama airs every Friday at 8:50 PM, with two episodes released consecutively.
With both series climbing global charts shortly after release, the two romance dramas are drawing growing attention from viewers around the world.
