Jisoo of BLACKPINK is receiving mixed reactions online after her recent comments about the final filming of her drama were shared in a YouTube video.

On March 6, Hyeri uploaded a video on her YouTube channel featuring Jisoo and Seo In Guk. In the video, the actors talked about behind the scenes stories from the drama Monthly Boyfriend.

During the conversation, they discussed the last day of filming. Seo In Guk shared that he had “felt emotional at times” when finishing projects, while Hyeri said she usually cries a lot because she feels sad saying goodbye to the cast and staff.

Jisoo, however, explained that she felt differently. She said that the directors were the ones who often became emotional, and she instead tried to comfort them. She shared, “I didn’t feel like crying,” and added that even when she thought about it deeply, “I didn’t understand which part was supposed to be sad.”

She also described the mood she felt during the final shoot, saying, “I felt excited. I was like, ‘Who wants to take photos?’”

After the video was released, some online users criticized her remarks and questioned her acting attitude. However, others defended the star, saying that people react differently on filming sets and that not crying does not mean someone does not care about the project.

Jisoo currently stars in the romantic comedy “Monthly Boyfriend,” where she plays Mi Rae, a webtoon producer who explores relationships through a virtual dating simulation.

The BLACKPINK member began her acting career in the JTBC drama Snowdrop and has since appeared in other projects including Newtopia and the film Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. With her latest drama now released, viewer reactions to her performance remain divided online.
