tvN’s weekend drama “Undercover Miss Hong,” starring Park Shin Hye, will temporarily change its broadcast schedule, leading to a brief overlap with Han Ji Min’s new JTBC drama “The Practical Guide to Love.”
According to reports, episode 15 of “Undercover Miss Hong” will air on March 7 at 10:00 PM, which is 50 minutes later than its usual 9:10 PM time slot.
The schedule change is believed to be related to the broadcast of the 2026 World Baseball Classic group stage match between South Korea and Japan, which is expected to draw high viewer interest. The final episode (episode 16) will return to its normal 9:10 PM broadcast on March 8.
Despite the temporary change, the drama has continued to show strong performance in ratings. “Undercover Miss Hong” first recorded 3.5% for its premiere, then steadily climbed to 7.4% by episode 4, 8.0% by episode 6, and 9.4% by episode 8.
The series later broke into double digits, reaching 10.6% for episode 11 and 11.8% for episode 14, maintaining four consecutive episodes above the 10% mark.
The drama has also ranked high in buzz metrics. According to Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex, the series placed No. 1 in both TV–OTT integrated drama buzz and TV drama buzz for the fourth week of February, while Park Shin Hye ranked No. 1 in the drama cast buzz rankings.
Meanwhile, JTBC’s romance drama “The Practical Guide to Love,” starring Han Ji Min, Park Sung Hoon, and Lee Ki Taek, premiered on February 28.
The series recorded 3.1% for episode 1 and 3.3% for episode 2, ending its first broadcast week with ratings in the 3% range. In buzz rankings, the drama placed No. 7 in the TV–OTT integrated drama buzz list.
Because “Undercover Miss Hong” will air at 10:00 PM on March 7, it will partially overlap with “The Practical Guide to Love,” which airs at 10:40 PM, creating a short period of time slot competition.
With “Undercover Miss Hong” nearing its finale and maintaining strong ratings momentum, attention is now on whether the schedule change will lead to another new ratings record, or if “The Practical Guide to Love” can gain momentum in its early weeks.
