Park Bo Gum’s ‘Bogum Magical’ hits its highest ratings yet and ranks No. 1 across all channels in its time slot

Park Bo Gum’s variety show Bogum Magical is on a steady rise.

According to Nielsen Korea, the 5th episode of tvN’s Bogum Magical, which aired on the 27th, recorded an average nationwide rating of 3.8% and a peak of 4.6%. In the Seoul metropolitan area, it scored an average of 4.0% and a peak of 4.8%. This marks the show’s highest ratings so far.

The program also ranked No. 1 in its time slot among cable and general programming channels. In tvN’s key 20 to 49 target demographic, it recorded a nationwide average of 1.9% and a peak of 2.3%, while the metropolitan area recorded an average of 2.0% and a peak of 2.4%. It ranked No. 1 across all channels, including public broadcasters, in the same time slot.

The episode featured Park Bo Gum, Lee Sang Yi, and Kwak Dong Yeon continuing to run their barbershop while forming meaningful connections with customers.

While the show delivered light and fun moments, it also touched viewers with heartfelt scenes.

One particularly emotional moment came when the team took a special photo for an elderly customer.

Park Bo Gum shared his honest thoughts, saying, “We took the photo to leave her with something beautiful. It was something we could do for her, but it felt hard to describe. This could be our last meeting in our lives. I just hope this moment will be remembered for a long time, because we don’t know when we will meet again.”

With its record breaking ratings and strong performance across key demographics, Bogum Magical continues to prove its growing popularity. The show airs every Friday at 8:35 PM.
