Jimin of BTS is once again in the spotlight as Billboard revisited his historic achievement on the Hot 100 chart.
In a recent article titled Every Non English Language Song to Reach the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard looked back at non English tracks that entered the Top 10 in the chart’s 68 year history.
Out of 39 non English songs that made it into the Top 10, only 10 reached No. 1.

Among those 10 songs, only three were Korean tracks: BTS’s “Life Goes On,” BTS and Coldplay’s “My Universe,” and Jimin’s solo track “Like Crazy” from his first solo album FACE.
With “Like Crazy,” Jimin became the first Korean solo singer to reach No. 1 on the Hot 100.

The song remains the only Korean language solo track to ever top the chart. He is also the only Korean artist to hit No. 1 on the Hot 100 both as a group member and as a solo artist.
During the same week he topped the Hot 100, Jimin also ranked No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart, becoming the first and only solo artist to achieve this record at the time.
His milestone continues to stand, further proving his strong global impact on the charts.
