Actress Kim So Hyun is reportedly considering a new role in the upcoming romance drama “White Scandal.”
On February 24, her agency PEACHY confirmed, “Kim So Hyun has been offered ‘White Scandal’ and is currently reviewing the proposal.”
The drama, based on the popular web novel by writer Moon Chae Ah, tells the story of Ji Eun Seol, a former child actress who once had a bright future but suddenly fell from fame after taking the blame for her brother’s crime.
Now working as a road manager while still chasing her acting dreams, she meets Dan Yi Hyuk, the man connected to her past, and becomes involved in a contract romance that slowly uncovers hidden secrets.
Kim So Hyun is offered the lead role of Ji Eun Seol, while Song Kang is reportedly offered the role of Dan Yi Hyuk, who proposes the contract romance.
Fans are excited about the potential reunion of the pair, who last starred together in “Love Alarm” five years ago.
The drama will be written by Kim Ga Eun, known for “Say It With Love,” and directed by Kim Chul Kyu, who previously worked on “Mother” and “Flower of Evil.”
The broadcast schedule has not yet been announced, and the project is currently in the casting stage, generating anticipation among fans.
