Jungkook of BTS has set another major record on global music charts.

His solo track Standing Next to You has officially surpassed 1.4 billion streams on Spotify, becoming his second song to reach the milestone after Seven.

With this achievement, Jungkook continues to show his powerful global streaming presence as a solo artist.

Even more than two years after its release in November 2023, “Standing Next to You” is still gaining around 700,000 daily streams.

The song previously hit No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart, stayed inside the Top 50 for over 120 days, and remained on the chart for more than 370 days, proving its strong long-term popularity.

Jungkook now has four songs that have each surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify — “Seven,” “Standing Next to You,” Left and Right, and 3D — making him the first Asian solo artist in history to achieve this record.

On major international charts, “Standing Next to You” also performed strongly. The track debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remained on the chart for 19 consecutive weeks.

It reached No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts, where it charted for 38 and 44 weeks respectively. In the UK, the song debuted at No. 6 on the UK Official Singles Chart and stayed for 11 weeks.

With “Standing Next to You” crossing 1.4 billion streams and continuing to chart strongly long after its release, Jungkook once again proves his lasting impact and record-breaking power in the global music industry.
