Actress Lee Joo Bin is drawing attention for her honest thoughts on marriage after briefly experiencing childcare firsthand.

On the 13th, following the conclusion of tvN’s Spring Fever, the 36 year old actress shared candid comments during a round interview. She revealed that her views on marriage changed after helping a friend care for twins.

“Not long ago, I visited a friend who is raising twins and helped take care of them for about 2 hours and 30 minutes.

At that moment, some of my fantasy about marriage disappeared. I thought, ‘Ah, this is reality,’” she said with a laugh.

She added, “I understood why my married friends say, ‘It’s really nice, but you do not have to do it. You do not need to get married.’”

Lee Joo Bin explained that the experience made her rethink her previous assumptions. “I realized that marriage and raising children are not something you must do, but a choice. Before, I thought I would do it someday. Now, I do not feel that way as strongly. If it happens naturally, it happens. If not, then not.”

She also expressed deep respect for parents, saying, “I truly respect all parents in the world.”
