BTS leads February brand reputation chart as competition heats up with Stray Kids and EXO

The February 2026 Boy Group Brand Reputation rankings have been released, with BTS taking No. 1, followed by Stray Kids at No. 2, and EXO at No. 3, once again highlighting the strong presence of top K-pop boy groups.

According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, a total of 60,890,349 pieces of big data related to boy groups were analyzed from January 7 to February 7, 2026. This marks a 12.05 percent increase compared to January, showing growing public interest. The rankings were calculated based on the participation, media, communication, and community indexes, reflecting overall consumer attention and engagement.

No. 1 – BTS
BTS recorded a brand reputation index of 9,903,378, showing a strong 24.16 percent increase from January. The group ranked high in all categories, including media exposure and fan communication, proving their continued influence and positive public response.

No. 2 – Stray Kids
Stray Kids placed second with a brand reputation index of 3,674,527, marking a 3.40 percent increase from the previous month. The group maintained steady growth through strong fan interaction and online presence.

No. 3 – EXO
EXO ranked third with a brand reputation index of 3,469,533. While the group remained in the top tier, their score saw a 33.08 percent decrease compared to January.

No. 4 – BIGBANG
BIGBANG followed at fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,372,782, showing a 13.08 percent rise from last month.

No. 5 – SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 2,321,728, despite a 31.05 percent decrease from January.

The head of the institute explained that BTS ranked first overall in the February analysis, adding that brand issue discussions increased sharply, while brand communication also saw a slight rise. BTS showed a particularly high positive sentiment rate of 93.49 percent, with keywords related to fans, performances, and music drawing strong attention.

The February 2026 analysis included many boy groups, confirming a highly competitive landscape, but BTS, Stray Kids, and EXO clearly stood out at the top of the rankings.
