Top K pop leaders from HYBE and JYP Entertainment have once again proven their global impact after being named to Billboard’s Power 100 for 2026, a list that recognizes the most influential people in the worldwide music industry.

According to Billboard, Bang Si Hyuk, chairman of HYBE, and Park Jin Young, founder of JYP Entertainment, were both included in this year’s list, standing out as key figures representing K pop on the global stage.

In the Leaderboard category, which ranks the top 40 leaders driving the global music industry, Bang Si Hyuk placed No. 30 alongside HYBE CEO Lee Jae Sang and HYBE America chairman and CEO Isaac Lee.

The trio also ranked No. 5 in the Multisector category, which evaluates overall influence across management, concerts, production, and distribution. This result highlighted HYBE’s strong presence and influence beyond Korea.

Billboard praised HYBE’s global strategy, noting that the company applies its K pop style artist and fandom system worldwide through a “multi home, multi genre” approach.

With this achievement, Bang Si Hyuk has now appeared on the Power 100 list six times, continuing to be recognized as a leader shaping not only K pop but the global music industry as a whole.

On the JYP side, Park Jin Young, JYP CEO Jung Wook, and JYP America CEO and chief strategy officer Shin Hyun Guk ranked No. 12 in the Multisector category. Billboard pointed to JYP Entertainment’s strong performance, driven by the continued global popularity of K pop.

Billboard also highlighted JYP artists’ global results, especially Stray Kids, whose world tour recorded major success in North America and became one of the top performing K pop tours on the Billboard Boxscore.

The media outlet emphasized that strong artist training remains a key strength of K pop agencies, praising the steady growth of JYP artists such as TWICE MISAMO, ITZY, and NMIXX.

The Billboard Power 100 is released every year and selects leaders across labels, live music, management, and multiple sectors of the music industry.

With Bang Si Hyuk and Park Jin Young listed side by side, the latest rankings clearly show how K pop leadership continues to hold strong influence on the global music scene.
