Actor Park Bo Gum showed honest disappointment after his barbershop opened to a quiet start with no customers on the first day.
On the January 30 broadcast of tvN’s new variety show Bogum Magical, Park Bo Gum opened a small village barbershop together with Lee Sang Yi and Kwak Dong Yeon in Muju, North Jeolla Province.
The trio opened right at 9 a.m., but as time passed, not a single customer appeared. The empty shop quickly changed the mood, leaving everyone feeling discouraged.

After checking the area, Lee Sang Yi said, “There’s no one,” adding, “I thought a huge crowd would come if we opened at 9 a.m.”
He also admitted, “There are no customers doing an opening run.” Park Bo Gum responded calmly, saying, “I didn’t even think about that kind of expectation.”
Despite his words, Park Bo Gum could be seen quietly looking out the window while cleaning, clearly waiting for customers.

It was revealed that he had even practiced haircuts and dyeing with the staff until late the night before, showing how seriously he took the opening.
Trying to laugh it off, Park Bo Gum later said, “I think I imagined something different,” while Kwak Dong Yeon joked, “Is this really Bogum Magical?” as if crowds were rushing in.
Park Bo Gum then shared honestly, “I keep looking out the window,” while Lee Sang Yi worried, “Should we air the show one more time?”
The scene drew laughs from viewers as the cast faced the reality of a quiet opening day.
