Jungkook of BTS is proving his powerful global impact after setting a new record in Canada with major certifications from Music Canada.
Jungkook earned a Quadruple Platinum Single certification for his solo debut track Seven, marking sales of over 400,000 units. The achievement immediately placed him among top global artists in the Canadian market.
He continued his strong run with Double Platinum Single certifications for 3D and Standing Next to You, each surpassing 160,000 units. His first solo album GOLDEN also earned a Platinum Album certification with over 80,000 units sold.
Additional tracks strengthened his record even further. Songs such as Yes or No and his self written track Still With You received Gold Single certifications, each passing 40,000 units.
With these results, Jungkook became the only Asian artist in Canada to hold a Platinum album along with multiple multi platinum singles.
He also ranked as the second highest selling K pop artist in Canada, following BTS, with total sales reaching 920,000 units.
Notably, Jungkook set another milestone by becoming the first Asian solo artist to earn a Canadian Gold certification for a non single track with Yes or No.
As of now, Jungkook holds one Quadruple Platinum single, three Double Platinum singles, five Platinum singles, nine Gold singles, and one Platinum album under Music Canada, clearly highlighting his record breaking presence and continued dominance as a global solo artist.
