BTS member Jimin continues to shine as a solo artist after his song Who earned a major milestone in Canada.

On January 19, Music Canada officially awarded Who a Double Platinum Single certification, proving the song’s strong and steady popularity.

Music Canada bases its certifications on combined sales, including digital downloads, streaming numbers, and physical sales. For singles, Gold starts at 40,000 units, Platinum at 80,000 units, and Double Platinum at 160,000 units.

Released on July 19, 2024, Who first reached Platinum status after passing 80,000 units within about six months. The song has now surpassed 160,000 units sold in Canada, officially earning Double Platinum.

Jimin’s achievements did not stop there. On the same day, Set Me Free Pt.2, a pre release track from his first solo album FACE, received Gold certification.

Earlier, on January 16, Jimin’s solo tracks from BTS albums also earned recognition, with Filter certified Platinum and Lie certified Gold.

Jimin has already made history in Canada before. His solo title track Like Crazy became the first Korean language solo song to receive a Music Canada Platinum certification since PSY’s Gangnam Style.

With both Like Crazy and Who reaching Platinum level and beyond, Jimin became the first and only Korean artist to earn multiple Music Canada Platinum certifications with two non collaboration solo songs.

With these achievements, Jimin continues to prove his strong global presence and lasting impact as a solo artist.
