Actor Park Yong Woo opened up about his experience working with Hyun Bin and younger actors while filming the Disney Plus series Made in Korea, drawing attention for his warm and honest comments.

On January 27, Park Yong Woo sat down for an interview with iMBC Entertainment in Jongno gu, Seoul, where he talked about his time on Made in Korea, directed by Woo Min Ho.

During the interview, Park Yong Woo shared how enjoyable it was to work with Hyun Bin, saying he did not expect their chemistry to come so naturally. “It was really fun acting together,” he said.

“It’s not easy to feel that way on every set, but with Hyun Bin, our conversations always flowed well and we were on the same wavelength.”

He added that he felt comfortable on set from the beginning and explained, “Whenever we had time, we would have one or two drinks and just talk.”

Park Yong Woo also briefly mentioned working with junior actor Noh Jae Won, who played Manager Pyo. He shared that they bonded over casual meals and long talks.

“We talked about many things, especially love, and realized we were both interested in those topics,” he said, adding that Noh Jae Won is “a serious person who thinks deeply about life.”

Park Yong Woo played a key figure in the series and received positive reactions from viewers. He shared a memorable response from the director, saying, “The director told me his mother asked, ‘Why did you kill that actor? Couldn’t you keep him alive?’”

Park Yong Woo said he felt thankful hearing that and added, “I’m grateful that people felt they wanted to see more.”

Made in Korea released its final episode on January 14. A second season is scheduled to be released in the second half of this year.
