Members of ASTRO came together to remember their late member Moonbin on his birthday, while Cha Eun Woo posted an apology statement amid recent tax related allegations.

On the 26th, ASTRO members MJ, Jin Jin, and Yoon San Ha shared messages honoring Moonbin and expressing how much they miss him.

MJ uploaded a past photo with Moonbin and simply wrote, “Bin, happy birthday.” Jin Jin also posted a photo and said, “Happy birthday to my little brother. I love you. I miss you. I should have taken more photos,” showing his deep affection.

Yoon San Ha shared a cover of Roy Kim’s song If You Ask Me What Love Is along with a touching message. He wrote, “Now I’m the older one. I’m already 27. While listening to this song, the lyrics really touched me. So this is my gift. I’ll let you hear my voice every year on your birthday.” He added, “Everyone really misses you, hyung. So please be well,” which moved many fans.

Meanwhile, Cha Eun Woo, who is currently serving in the military, shared an apology statement instead of a birthday post as allegations related to tax issues surfaced. He said, “I am deeply reflecting on whether my attitude toward fulfilling my duty to pay taxes as a citizen was strict enough,” and clarified, “Even though I am in the military, this was never an intentional choice to avoid the issue. This misunderstanding came from my shortcomings, and I take full responsibility.”

He also stated, “I will sincerely cooperate with all future tax related procedures and humbly accept the final decision made by the authorities,” expressing his intention to take responsibility.

Moonbin debuted as a member of ASTRO in 2016 and was active in group, unit, and acting projects. He passed away in April 2023, and continues to be remembered by both his members and fans.
