JTBC’s Friday series Love Me recently wrapped up, and actor Lee Si Woo opened up about working with Dahyun in a post finale interview.
Love Me, which aired its final episode on January 23, recorded a highest nationwide rating of 2.2 percent according to Nielsen Korea.
The drama tells the story of an ordinary family learning to love and grow, and Lee Si Woo received praise for his emotional and relatable portrayal of Seo Joon Seo.

In the series, Lee Si Woo and Dahyun played friends of over 20 years who share a very natural and comfortable bond.
To build that chemistry, Lee Si Woo shared that they worked hard to feel close even before filming began.
He said, “Joon Seo and Hye On had to feel very comfortable from the beginning,” adding, “Dahyun is one year older than me, and she suggested we speak casually first, so we got close very quickly.”

He also explained that they focused on small details to make their relationship feel real. “We talked a lot about natural actions, like pouring water during meals or tossing a tissue if something was on the other person’s face,” he said. “Even simple things like opening her fridge and drinking water helped show how long they had known each other.”
Lee Si Woo also revealed that he has been a long time fan of TWICE. Looking back, he said, “I was a high school student when they debuted in 2015, and it was huge. Everyone followed ‘TT’ and ‘Cheer Up.’” When asked if Dahyun was his favorite member, he laughed and replied, “That will never change.”
Reflecting on the drama’s theme, Lee Si Woo also shared his honest thoughts about male and female friendships in real life.
He said that while it may be possible with clear boundaries, “the line is very thin,” adding that he personally feels it is difficult to maintain such friendships without feelings changing.
With Love Me now concluded, Lee Si Woo’s honest stories and warm chemistry with Dahyun continue to leave a strong impression on viewers.
