BTS member Jungkook continues to show his strong global influence as a solo artist, reaching an impressive new milestone on Spotify.
Jungkook’s solo track “Hate You” has officially surpassed 200 million streams, becoming his 13th song to reach this mark.
The song is included in his first solo album GOLDEN, released in November 2023, and achieved the milestone even without an official music video, highlighting steady support from listeners worldwide.
With this achievement, Jungkook now has 11 solo songs on his personal Spotify profile that have passed 200 million streams, including “Seven,” “Standing Next to You,” “Left and Right,” “3D,” “Dreamers,” “Stay Alive,” and “Still With You.”
When adding his BTS album solo tracks “Euphoria” and “My Time,” the total rises to 13 tracks, further confirming his position as a global streaming powerhouse.
“Hate You” also became the sixth song from GOLDEN to cross 200 million streams. This makes GOLDEN the first album by a K pop solo artist to record six tracks with over 200 million streams on Spotify, setting another clear record.
The song also gained recognition in Korea, ranking No. 1 on Billboard Korea’s MZ K pop breakup song playlist, showing its strong appeal among younger listeners.
Jungkook has also made history as the first Asian solo artist to achieve three songs with over 1 billion streams on Spotify: “Seven,” “Standing Next to You,” and “Left and Right.”
His solo debut song “Seven” is currently charting for its 131st week on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart, the longest run ever for an Asian solo artist. His album GOLDEN is also marking its 115th week on the Weekly Top Albums Global chart, another record-breaking achievement.
Most recently, Jungkook’s Spotify account surpassed 10.3 billion total streams across all credits before filtering.
As the first K pop solo artist and the fastest Asian artist to reach this level, Jungkook continues to stand out as one of the strongest global forces in today’s music scene.
