Actress Seo Eun Soo recently shared her honest thoughts on working alongside top actors Hyun Bin and Jung Woo Sung in the Disney Plus original series Made in Korea.
During an interview held on January 19 in Samcheong dong, Seoul, Seo Eun Soo said it was an “honor” to act closely with Jung Woo Sung.
She praised his experience and shared that many scenes were made richer through rehearsals and natural ad libs rather than strictly following the script.
Seo Eun Soo explained, “I really felt honored. We tried to make the scenes more alive through rehearsals and ad libs. I think he helped a lot so my character could look more charming.”
She added that some memorable lines were created on the spot after Jung Woo Sung suggested trying a more emotional and natural delivery.
She also spoke about her character’s feelings toward Jung Woo Sung’s role, saying it was based more on trust and respect than anything else.
Seo Eun Soo shared that when her character calls him “Alain Delon”, it is not just about looks, but about the symbolic image of Alain Delon in the 1970s. She described the relationship as “more like a student respecting a teacher.”
When asked about working with Hyun Bin, Seo Eun Soo revealed she often joked on set that he looked like Tom Hardy. She said viewers later made the same comment, which made her laugh. She added, “If Hyun Bin was Tom Hardy, then Jung Woo Sung was Alain Delon.”
Seo Eun Soo also briefly talked about her role, explaining that she focused on fully immersing herself in her character rather than taking sides, and tried to portray growth through facing unfair situations in a realistic way.
With her comparisons and warm praise for both actors, Seo Eun Soo’s comments have drawn attention online, highlighting the strong chemistry and respect shared among the cast of Made in Korea.
