BTS V continues to show strong global influence as his song “Winter Ahead” has officially surpassed 600 million streams on Spotify.
According to Spotify on January 17, “Winter Ahead (with Park Hyo Shin)” crossed the 600 million mark on the platform.
The song has also remained on the Spotify Global Chart for 367 days, highlighting its long lasting popularity.
Released on November 29, 2024, while V was serving in the military, the song achieved major results even without promotions.
It entered Billboard’s Hot 100, debuted at No. 1 on the Holiday Digital Song Sales chart, and placed No. 62 on the Holiday Hot 100.
With this achievement, V became the first K pop artist to place three songs — “Christmas Tree,” “White Christmas,” and “Winter Ahead” — on the Holiday Hot 100 chart.
All three songs also reached No. 1 on the Holiday Digital Song Sales chart, setting a new milestone.
“Winter Ahead” also showed strong performance in the UK, debuting at No. 1 on the Singles Download chart and No. 2 on the Singles Sales chart on the UK Official Charts, proving V’s global digital strength.
In addition, Billboard named “Winter Ahead” as one of “The 27 Best Winter Songs for the Season,” and the track also ranked No. 1 on Billboard’s “2024 Fans’ Favorite Songs.”
With record breaking streams, long chart runs, and top rankings across global platforms, BTS’s V once again proves his powerful presence as a solo artist on the world stage.
